As part of the farm-to-fork initiative, the European Commission requested tenders for projects aiming to ensure more transparency and food safety throughout the food supply chain.
One of the projects that won a tender is the TITAN consortium. The project was funded with more than 11 million Euro and has 27 partners from 14 countries.
Edward Sliwinski from EFFoST had the idea for the TITAN project and brought all the actors together. Dr. Bert Popping of FOCOS interviewed Edward during the Rapid Methods Europe conference in Amsterdam.
